What is the Marshall Study Center?

The Marshall Study Center and Residence was started with the vision of developing Men into virtuous leaders, thereby transforming the society in which they live. Located in St. Paul, MN just north of the University of St. Thomas and established in 2019, The Marshall Study Center strives to provide individual formation to men serving as a resource in cultural, personal, spiritual, and professional development.

Activities offered include professional development and tutoring, seminars, workshops, retreats, educational programs, community engagement and services, and group activities.

“Marshall” was chosen as the name of the residence in recognition of its location and also the organic product of the unique culture that grew up around the environment and friendship between the men and larger community.

Marshall’s programs are focused around helping men to better understand themselves and the world in which they live. Not only does the center provide professional development, but also development focused on developing critical thinking and reasoning. This is done using classical formation and philosophical rigor, in depth and rigorous understanding of our place in the world and our origins in God, combined with skills that are practical and applicable to the workplace.

The Christian formation is in line with the Tradition and Teachings of the Roman Catholic Church and spirituality of Saint Josemaría Escrivá. Learn more…
